Our Mission

The Friends of the Fox Point Pool, Inc. is a group of volunteers (7 Board members – Kate Battle, Chair • Katie Heyer, Vice Chair • Staci Peters, Treasurer • Jenny Jansen, Secretary and officers: Mary Sussman,  Marty Tirado, Dan Knopp) — and many more community volunteers — who reside in Fox Point and the surrounding communities. We all share the common goal to work together to raise 50% of the funding needed through private donations to construct a new aquatics facility in Fox Point, Wisconsin at the site of the current Municipal Pool on Santa Monica Boulevard.

Our goal is to assist the Village of Fox Point financially in constructing a pool facility that is similar in size and scope to our existing Municipal Pool, but with improvements that make it more inclusive to all members of the community. We will accomplish this by making the facility ADA accessible so that individuals with disabilities, older adults, people recovering from injuries, and young children will be able to enjoy the pool as much as everyone else. We also want to improve the building and areas surrounding the pool to allow for more spaces for the community to gather to foster relationships, including an indoor community room that could be used for events year round and in any kind of weather.
