Fox Point Pool - a community gem!
The Fox Point Municipal Pool was constructed in 1968 near the center of our Village as a place for the community to gather and recreate. Having a pool is good for our community!
Swimming lessons teach water safety
A community meeting place
Kids gain independence riding their bikes to the pool to swim with their friends
Parents of young children can meet and socialize
Provides teenagers and young adults valuable life experience and employment as lifeguards
Outdoor recreation for all ages
A place for community members of all ages and abilities to do low impact exercise like laps, swimming or water aerobics
Shows our Village is healthy and growing
A place for families and friends to make memories together
Programming that was a huge draw for many families that we hopefully will see again including: Swim Team • Synchronized Swimming • Dive Team • Masters Swimming • Water Aerobics
Increased property value. Being one of the few communities in our area that has a pool is good for our property values. Having such a special amenity in our community makes living here more attractive to prospective homeowners, especially families with children and those who value outdoor recreation.
