What we’ve accomplished
Applied for and received our 501c3 status from the IRS (in 1 month!)
Created a logo, website, print materials, letter templates, potential donor lists and done a direct mailing, paid for by donations from individuals and our own Friends Board members, with minimal cost to our organization.
Started fundraising at the beginning of June, 2024 and in 6 months, raised $127,500 from over 130 donors in our community.
Received a grant of $5,000 from the Tate Family Foundation and continue to look for more grants/ federal funding to apply for.

Working on reaching out to large businesses and corporations with ties to Fox Point and our County to look for potential contributions.
Written to our elected officials inquiring about available grants or state/county funding.
